CMRTA Committees -- FY 2009-2010
Comprehensive Study Implementation Committee (CSIC)
(This Committee will begin its work after CMRTA Board approval/acceptance of the final study document)
This committee will be a standing committee of the CMRTA that provides guidance and assistance to the CMRTA staff in the implementation of the recommendations resulting from the Comprehensive Study Project. The Committee will replace the former Service Standards Committee and absorb the former committee’s responsibilities. This committee will be a “working” group that formulates consensus-based recommendations for consideration by the CMRTA Board. Meetings to be held on a semi-monthly basis.
Chair: Tommy Windsor
Members: Val Hutchinson; Bob Coble; Rep. Leon Howard; Bob Liming; Lill Mood (Advisory)
Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC)
(This Committee will begin its work in January 2010)
This committee has historically been a standing committee of the CMRTA that addresses system-wide issues related to serving the disabled (DART and Fixed Route Services) and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The committee is a “working” group that formulates consensus-based recommendations for consideration by the CMRTA Board. In the recent past, this committee has not met on a regular basis, but rather on an as-needed basis. Meetings to be held on a quarterly basis or as needed.
The composition of this committee has historically been 1-2 CMRTA Board Members, a disabled fixed route rider, a DART rider, and a representative of the Disabilities Action Center (DAC). The DAC is a long-time local organization that serves individuals with all types of disabilities. CMRTA legal counsel typically participates in the AAC meetings.
Chair: Shawn Greenwood or Charles Cook

Meetings to be held on a semi-monthly basis.
